Comments: My wife Becky and I have been married for 26 years and have two children and no grandchildren. Bethany is 23 and Luke is 20. Neither can marry until they are at least 30 since they are needed at home on the farm. Bethany is finishing a master's degree; Luke is my right hand. I semi-retired from a full-time in-town job and farming to two part-time jobs and farming in 2008. We started building a new home last year and at the rate it's progressing, are hoping to have moved in by our 50th wedding anniversary. We don't get too far from the place anymore due to a collection of livestock and bad fences but when we do it's to the Wind River mountains that are just beyond the back door.

Comments: Too young for grandkids, we have a daughter Betsy who is 9 years old and loves the outdoors, animals, especially reptiles. We have a gecko and an anole and she tried to bring back other lizards from a recent trip to Costa Rica. Also have nine cats, including a one-eyed black one for those of you who are superstitious and three horses. I became a journalist, now working for the Gothenburg Times and doing some freelance stuff. I also married the hot dog man in 1990, he's a criminal attorney who travels the state, when he's not dealing on property, cars, motorcycles, boats, etc. (you name it). Lexington High and classmates become more important as life travels on.

Comments: I still practice law in Neligh where Karen and I have lived since 1984. Our son, Tyler, will be finishing up at Northeast Community College in May where he is majoring in broadcasting. Our daughter, Melissa, is a sophomore at UNL and is pursuing a career in Occupational Therapy. We also have two cats, Booster and Oliver who keep the lawn free of mice and snakes. I recently retired from coaching varsity football at Neligh-Oakdale where I served as defensive coordinator for 12 years, I still coach defense for the Junior High. I also umpired American Legion baseball for 25 years, retiring last year. I still enjoy running, weightlifting and gardening. I am very much looking forward to seeing all of you at the reunion. I especially hope to see all of the football teammates and coaches who so influenced my life. I remain very proud of being a member of our state champion football teams, especially our senior year. Really looking forward to the reunion!

Comments: I married Steve Debban from Holdrege in August of 1977, we lived in Hastings until 1996 when we moved to Kearney. We have 2 sons, Brett (26), Littleton, CO, and Zach (21), Kearney. No grandkids, maybe by the next reunion. Steve is an engineer for Source Gas and hoping to retire in about 3 years when he reaches his 40th yr. with the company. I have been working for Kearney Public Schools for 13 yrs. in charge of Accounts Payable/Receivable/Collections for the Food Service Department. I've enjoyed catching up with classmates on Facebook, friend requests are welcomed. Sorry we won't be at the reunion, we have a prior commitment. Comments: After spending 19 years teaching PE and coaching Volleyball I now I teach English as a Second Language to students in grades 9-12 at Hastings Sr. High. I spend my summers working with Asian Access, a mission agency. I have spent the last 12 summers in Japan teaching English and doing mission work. I think I have the best of both worlds. I'm not married and I don't have any kids, dogs or cats. In my free time I keep score or supervise ball games at HHS and I like to travel whenever I can.

Comments: I graduated from the Nebraska Methodist College of Nursing in 1977 and completed a BSN from the University of Phoenix in 1993. Over the past 40 years I have lived in Norfolk and Grand Island as well as Tucson, AZ. I have been married to Steve Schneider 31 years. I worked in community hospitals prior to being hired by the Veterans Health Administration (VA) where I worked in Nursing, Nursing Management and Program Administration for the past 30 years. It has been an honor and privilege to serve our nation's Veterans. I retired from the VA in December 2013. We moved back to the Tucson area in July 2013 and we are enjoying retirement in Arizona. I enjoy hiking, golfing, reading and traveling to name a few hobbies. I currently have a Facebook account and have enjoyed reconnecting with many Lexington High classmates from 1974.
